The Lincoln Project, which houses Never Trump conservatives, posted the photo and a cheeky caption on X, “Name this foundation shade.” The apparent lousy makeup job comes weeks after former Republican congressman Adam Kinzinger told on CNN, “I’m genuinely surprised how people close to Trump haven’t talked about the odor.”
Could Be Worse
In response to the X post, psychologist Dr. David A. Lustig wrote, “I suppose that Trump could look worse, but it wouldn’t be easy.” He wondered, “You’d think that a claimed billionaire could hire a makeup artist who wouldn’t make him look like a dirty old shoe.”
“An open jar of Nutella”
Comedian Patton Oswalt said he was not a fan of Trump, but “these are adorable.” Oswalt continued, “Like a well-meaning, slow-witted lunkhead who couldn’t resist when he saw an open jar of Nutella. He should not be president again, but he should be allowed to have goofy adventures like this.”

The messy photo was fact-checked. Photojournalist Tannen Maury took it for Agence France-Presse (AFP) during a Trump rally in Clinton, Iowa. The photographer also confirmed it was authentic.

One Reddit poster shared, “Rumor has it Guiliani’s makeup guy has been found.” The former NYC Mayor went viral in November 2020 when dark liquid was seen dripping down his face during a press conference. But, back to Trump’s alleged makeup failure.
