He remarked, “This is a Biden invasion over the past three years.”

Judd criticized Biden’s claims of having done all he could to secure the border, implying the visit was pointless if those claims were true.

The situation was compounded by the recent killing of Laken Riley, with Venezuelan migrant Jose Antonio Ibarra charged in her death, raising intense questions about Biden’s immigration policies.

In response to inquiries, Governor Abbott’s office pointed to his statement in Newsweek, emphasizing Texas’s resolve to contest the court’s decision.

Abbott declared, “Texas will immediately appeal this decision, and we will not back down in our fight to protect our state—and our nation—from President Biden’s border crisis. The president of the United States has a constitutional duty to enforce federal laws protecting States, including laws already on the books that mandate the detention of illegal immigrants.”
