On X, InteractivePolls cited Morning Consultant and showed that Trump has 45 percent of support, while Biden has 40 percent. The post added, “This is Trump’s largest advantage by Morning Consult since tracking began in December 2022.”

Of those polled, 43 percent would back President Biden, while 40 percent would back Trump. However, when it comes to favorability, Trump has the support of 46 percent, while Biden has 44 percent. Voters expressed a more unfavorable opinion toward the President by two points.

The voters decided that the most important questions were about the economy, jobs, health care,  crime, and national security. Trump scored better than Biden on all the issues except healthcare.

Morning Consultant added that the polls were concluded in seven key states, and Trump leads in all of them. President Biden’s victories in certain states, like Georgia or Wisconsin, were under one percent, meaning Trump does not need a popular vote to win the 2024 elections.

Another massive surprise came from the Siena College Poll released on January 22. It shows Trump leading Biden 42 to 39 percent among Hispanic voters in New York. The Siena College pollster Steven Greenberg said this is “very concerning” for Biden.

With third-party candidates, the gap is wider

The same polling concluded that if Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Cornel West were included, Biden would get 32 percent of the votes, while Trump would have 41 percent.

Greenberg said, “As has been the case in recent national polls, Biden has lost considerable support among key constituencies that propelled him to victory four years ago.” He added that Biden’s drop in votes is “dramatic” since “a year ago, Biden’s net favorability rating was +2, today 10 points underwater, and his net approval rating fell from +4 to -12, a net drop of 16 points.”

Apart from losing Latino votes, President Biden’s support from Black voters in New York is also dropping. While he still has a significant lead, 54 percent compared to Trump’s 24 percent, in November 2020, Biden had 90 percent of Black votes, the Siena poll concluded.

While some argue that his legal troubles could cost him the 2024 election, most Republicans see Trump as the best candidate to best Biden. Despite not being officially nominated by the GOP, Haley’s numbers are hard to compare with Trump’s.

What drives GOP voters

CBS News/YouGov survey showed Republican voters are highly interested in discussing the economy and inflation, migrants, transgender children, and Hunter Biden. Though the economy is the number one issue, candidates are not addressing it enough.

Trump’s March trial will likely get delayed

For the former President, delaying trials could lead him back to the White House. While the election interference trial was scheduled to begin on March 4, the chances of delay are growing stronger by the day.

Hawaii Democrats introduced legislation to ban insurrectionists from running for public office. Trump has been kicked off ballots in Maine and Colorado because of the same constitutional amendment, Amendment 14 Section 3. The US Supreme Court will hear arguments in Colorado soon.

Trump on “full and total immunity”

In Manchester, New Hampshire, Trump said, “Take a look at Harry Truman. He wouldn’t have done… If you think Hiroshima, not exactly a nice act, but it did end the Second World War probably, right? Nagasaki. He wouldn’t be doing that. He said, ‘I do not want to do that because my opponents will indict me.’ You have to give a president full and total immunity.”
