Trump Admits to Intentionally Mixing Up Names

During his South Carolina rally, the former President shared how he deliberately mixed up names and added, “It’s very hard to be sarcastic.”

Trump told his supporters, “It’s very hard to be sarcastic when I interpose. I’m not a Nicki fan, and I’m not a Pelosi fan. And when I purposely interpose names, they said, ‘He didn’t know Pelosi from Nikki, from tricky Nikki.'” The former President was talking about his New Hampshire, where he accused Haley of being in charge of security during the January 6 riots.

During the infamous speech, Trump told the rallygoers, “By the way, they never reported the crowd on January 6. You know Nikki Haley, Nikki Haley, Nikki Haley, you know, they — do you know they destroyed all of the information, all of the evidence, everything, deleted and destroyed all of it. All of it.” He continued, “like Nikki Haley is in charge of security — we offered her 10,000 people, soldiers, National Guards, whatever they want.”

Mixing up Biden and Obama

On several occasions, Trump said that not only did he beat former President Obama but that he was still in charge. He “sarcastically” mixes up the two presidents to suggest “others may actually be having a very big influence in running our Country.”

In November 2023, Trump wrote, in part, “The Democrat’s Radical Left ‘Disinformation Machine,’ go wild saying that ‘Trump doesn’t know the name of our President, (CROOKED!) Joe Biden. He must be cognitively impaired.’ No, I know both names very well, never mix them up, and know that they are destroying our Country.”

“Great speaker”

During the South Carolina rally, Trump repeated, “I’m a great speaker.” This comes after Robert Hur’s report, despite not charging President Biden regarding classified documents, stated he was a “well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory.”

Panic among Democrats

Following the report, a Reuters/Ipsos poll found that 78% of voters believe Biden is too old to work in the Office. That number is way lower for Trump, with 53% expressing their concerns. The most damaging part of the poll is that 71% of Democrats think Biden is too old for a second term.

Trump knows age could be an issue

In one of his Truth Social posts, Trump repeated that he “aced” a cognitive test, adding, “Biden should take one so we can determine why he wants Open Borders, No Energy Independence, A Woke Military, High Inflation, No Voter I.D., Men playing In Women’s Sports, Only Electric Cars & Trucks, A Weaponized DOJ/FBI, and so many other CRAZY things!!!”

Trump knows the best words

It is safe to say that both potential presidential candidates are not the best orators. In 2019, Trump declared, “I know words. I have the best words.” More recently, in 2023, he mixed up Jeb Bush with George W. Bush. Trump, who once bragged of having the “world’s greatest memory,” was confused about which Bush was involved in conflicts in the Middle East.

WWII and I.D. for bread

The former President also warned that the Biden administration would lead us into World War II. During the Concerned Women for America summit in Washington, D.C., he proclaimed, “You have voter I.D. to buy a loaf of bread. You have I.D. to buy a loaf of bread.”

All hands on deck

Meanwhile, during the press conference, Biden said that his memory was just “fine” but lashed out at Hur for mentioning his late son, Beau. President Biden wondered, “How in the hell dare he raise that?” adding, “Frankly, when I was asked the question, I thought to myself, it wasn’t any of their damn business.”

Fighting for Biden

Vice President Kamala Harris questioned Hur’s motives following the damaging report. Harris stated, “The way that the president’s demeanor in that report was characterized could not be more wrong on the facts, and politically motivated, gratuitous.”

AOC is more concerned about Trump’s criminal indictments

Speaking to CNN about Biden’s age, NY representative Alexandra Octavio-Cortzes reminded, “We have to look at, first of all, Donald Trump is around the same age. They could have gone to high school together. And beyond that, Donald Trump has 91 indictments.” AOC also said Biden is “one of the most successful presidents in modern American history.”
