Haley Says There is No Way For Trump to Win Elections, Warns He Could Use RNC as His ‘Piggy Bank’

GOP’s presidential hopeful does not think Trump will win the general election in 2024, but she is worried he could use the RNC as his “piggy bank,” as she repeated in several interviews.

While the Fox host asked Haley about Trump’s New York fraud trial verdict and asserted it was a hefty amount of money “even for a guy as rich as Trump,” the former South Carolina Governor was unbothered. When asked about her thoughts, Haley responded, “I am worried about the RNC becoming his personal piggy bank.”

The former UN ambassador and the last person standing between Trump and the GOP nomination continued, “We saw that he spent $50 million of campaign contribution on his own personal court cases.”

Haley reminded that Trump is “taking over the RNC.” She added that he even “named any sort of nominee by putting his daughter-in-law as chair, by putting his campaign manager as director, by them saying they’re just going to focus on him.”

Haley shared that “there is no way that Donald Trump is going to win this election.” She continued by asserting that there will be a female president, either her or Kamala Harris. Haley did not elaborate on why she believes there will be a female president but added, “If Donald Trump is the nominee, that’s what we’re looking at.”

The former Governor said that Trump will spend time in court in March, April, May, and June, adding, “He said it himself that he’s going to be spending more time in a courtroom than he is going to be on the campaign trail.” She asserted, “We cannot have a president Kamala Harris.”

Haley repeated claims on CNN

Talking to CNN’s Kaitlan Collins, Haley voiced concerns, “My biggest issue is, I don’t want the RNC to become, you know, his legal defense fund.” She added, “I don’t want the RNC to become his piggy bank for his personal court cases.”

She is also worried about Trump’s involvement in RNC nominations

The former UN ambassador said that “RNC is practically broke now,” adding that Trump is “trying to control the RNC after the fact that he tried to get me out of the race so that he could be the presumptive nominee.” Haley continued, “All of that is so that he has an arm to pay his legal fees.”

Speaking on NBC News with the host Craig Melvin, Haley declared, “There is no way that the American people are going to vote for a convicted criminal.” She added, “The problem now is he is not the same person he was in 2016,” she continued. “He is unhinged. He is more diminished than he was, just like Joe Biden’s more diminished than what he was.”

The GOP presidential hopeful expressed, “We don’t want these two old men running. We want someone who will go and fight for us and work for us, with no drama, no vendettas.”

During her interview on Fox, Haley focused on legal fees and said that Trump paid $50 million of donor money to 47 different law firms to help with his personal issues, “you know that he’s running out of money.” She added that “any contribution to the RNC is going to be paying his legal fees.”

The former Governor reminded how Trump said in January, “Anybody that makes a ‘Contribution’ to Birdbrain, from this moment forth, will be permanently barred from the MAGA camp.” Haley commented, “Think about it. President of the United States. You’re trying to get people in, not to push people out.”

Trump’s not talking about the “American people”

Haley wondered when, if ever, Trump talked about the $34 trillion debt, education, the border issue, “lawlessness in our cities,” wars across the globe, and more. She added, “We can’t have four more about him.”

Not backing down

Haley claims that “70 percent of American people do not want Donald Trump and Joe Biden to be the nominees of this presidential election.” She quoted, “59 percent of Americans said that they think Trump and Biden are too old.” She added this was nothing personal, and she voted for Trump twice, but “this is about the fact that Republicans have to win.”
