‘Apprentice’ winner warns Trump will face more trials because he ‘Thinks He Is Above The Law’

A former Trump Organization employee who won the 2005 “The Apprentice” show, Dr. Randal Pinkett, warned that Trump’s behavior will not change, and the former president believes he’s “above the law.”

Speaking to the Daily Express US, Pinkett said he expects “to see more cases” because he doesn’t “expect Donald to change his behavior.” He gave an example, “Look at how difficult it was for him to keep his mouth shut with E Jean Carroll, he couldn’t do it.”

“He believes he can do and say what he wants,” Pinkett told the Daily Express and noted, “He thinks he is above the law.”

Business vs. politics

The business consultant who won Trump’s reality show “The Apprentice” in 2005 further stated, “Donald went into the political arena having been successful at business. But it could be the political arena that is the destruction of his business empire.”

Following Trump’s alleged comments about  Haiti, El Salvador, and some African countries in 2018, Pinkett told MSNBC’s Joy Reid, “There is no question in my mind he’s a racist.” He continued, “Donald Trump is vying for the most racist person that I’ve met these days.”

Pinkett, the only black “The Apprentice” winner, reflected on the experience he gained while working in the Trump Organization and during the reality show. Asked if he thought Trump has changed since his infamous Access Hollywood tape from 2005, Pinkett said, “He weeds out people who want to challenge Donald or who want to be critical of Donald,” adding, “I don’t think he’s learned anything.”

Some of the show’s contestants opposed Trump’s presidential nomination in 2016. Pinkett’s statement said, “As alums of ‘The Apprentice,’ we have had the opportunity to work with Donald in various capacities, including as employees of the Trump Organization.” He added, “Based on that experience and Donald’s campaign, we do not believe he is worthy of becoming president of the United States.”

“The Apprentice” season 4 winner continued, “Because our allegiance to our country supersedes our relationship with Donald, we see today as an act of patriotism and not disloyalty.”

In a statement from April 2016, Trump continued, “They just want to get back into the limelight like they had when they were with Trump. Total dishonesty and disloyalty.” He added, “They should be careful, or I’ll play hours of footage of them individually praising me.”

Kwame Jackson, a first-season contestant, suggested Trump’s rhetoric could inspire violence, “Trump is not the candidate for America. Words matter, and you incite violence when you cajole, tacitly and implicitly, encourage the next Dylann Roof or the next Timothy McVeigh.” He added, “They are listening. In some tragic cases, they are acting.”

Tara Dowdell, a season 3 contestant, blasted Trump’s MAGA slogan, “You don’t make America great by rejecting the very promise of America. America has always been a place where we welcomed immigrants, where we welcomed people coming here seeking a better life or escaping extreme violence and totalitarianism.”

“You don’t make America great by dividing people. You don’t make America great by creating an environment where people think it’s acceptable to physically harm someone exercising their constitutional rights,” Dowdell added,
